How the list was made

We read all 752 direct replies to the post and kept the 250 most-liked products that plausibly cost under $250. When several people named the same product, it is credited to the most-liked reply. A reply that named several things became one pick each, sharing that reply’s likes. The list is sorted by likes, so the order near the bottom, where many picks have zero or one like, is loose.

Links go to the maker’s own site or the exact page the person shared. Nothing is sponsored, and there are no affiliate links. The list refreshes at 9 AM and 6 PM ET to pick up new replies and like counts. Last updated Oct 25, 10:46 PM ET.

Credits

How it’s built

• The pages are plain HTML and CSS, generated by a short Python script. No framework.
